Spark Photonics Launches Check Mate DRC for Tower Semiconductor's PH18DA Process

Waltham, Massachusetts, USA – Spark Photonics Design, Inc. today announced the release of Check Mate DRC (Design Rule Check) software for Tower Semiconductor's PH18DA integrated photonics process, a groundbreaking foundry offering that incorporates III-V devices with silicon photonics for on-chip light sources, amplification, and modulation.

Check Mate DRC provides comprehensive design rule checking capabilities tuned for Tower's PH18DA platform via an intuitive graphical user interface (GUI), enabling designers to efficiently verify their layouts against Tower's process design rules, reducing errors and streamlining the design process.
